We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to protect our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring activities, enforcing regulations, and responding effectively to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities (e.g., property damage, theft, accidents)
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and gates
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors when needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE (WAEC/NECO); additional certification in security is an advantage
- Proven experience as a security officer or in a related role
- Good observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
