Job Description

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to protect our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment by monitoring activities, enforcing regulations, and responding effectively to incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles
• Respond to emergencies such as fire, theft, or medical incidents
• Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities (e.g., property damage, theft, accidents)
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and gates

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE (WAEC/NECO); additional certification in security is an advantage
• Proven experience as a security officer or in a related role
• Good observational and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
• Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods
• Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Integrity and professionalism
