Fish Farm Attendant is responsible for the daily care and management of fish in a farm setting. The role involves feeding, monitoring water quality, cleaning tanks/ponds, and assisting with breeding, harvesting, and general farm operations to ensure healthy fish production.
Responsibilities
- Feed fish according to established schedules and feeding instructions.
- Monitor fish behavior, growth, and overall health.
- Maintain and clean tanks, ponds, and water systems.
- Check and record water quality parameters (temperature, pH, oxygen levels).
- Assist with breeding, hatching, and harvesting operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fish farming or animal husbandry is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of aquaculture practices and fish care.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors.
- Observant, reliable, and hardworking.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
