Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the organization’s financial health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, analyzing financial data, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor budgets and track financial performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and organizational skills
